The Thousand Dollar Shave Society lets you shave for a thousand dollars.

Hello. Have you ever heard of the Dollar Shave Club? Neither have I.

But apparently it’s big enough of a thing to be trolled by yet another beard-centric entity that lets you order shaving paraphernalia from the Internet.

I give you, the Thousand Dollar Shave Society.

The gist of the thing is that one is a cheap club that sells razors for less than 10 bucks while the other is a premium society that offers a luxury shaving kit that apparently includes a brush made of badger fur and a razor made of stag antler.

While the Dollar Shave Club is the real deal, I’m not entirely sure how serious its expensive counterpart is. The thing is, I don’t really care. The video is witty, brilliantly scripted, competently acted and well directed, creating an absurdist piece of fauxdvertising (or not) which really struck a nerve with me. The “And Presto! You’re ready to make babies… on purpose” line in the end really seals the deal with me.

I’ll still never order a thousand dollar shaving kit, though.

Videogames are awesome (and infuriatingly frustrating).

I like videogames. A lot. Really, quite a lot.

But sometimes, more often than I’d like to admit, they drive me completely bonkers with frustration.

Now BuzzFeedPop has boiled down some of these infuriating moments in an awesome video aptly titled “The 50 Most Frustrating Moments In Videogames” and I have to say, I’ve been through A LOT of them.

It’s an amusing little video and it sure brings out some cherished, and not so cherished, memories.

So, if you’re a videogame nut like me, watch it, like it, share it.

I could watch Terry Crews’ Old Spice videos all day long

I admit that the Terry Crews starred Old Spice commercials and campaigns are a clear case of “love it or hate it“.

But ever since that amazing interactive video on Vimeo I am definitely on the “love it” camp.

The unashamed silliness of the script and the so-over-the-top-it’s-hit-the-stratosphere-by-now delivery by Terry hit the mark every single time.

The Internet is full of wonderful things

If you don’t believe me, just dedicate three and a half minutes of your life to this video.

I’m not the emotional type. Not by a long shot. And I don’t usually fall for this type of heart-warming artsy videos. They’re just not my cup of tea. But the sheer honesty and simplicity, as well as the technical prowess, of Tatia Pilieva’s First Kiss completely got to me.

Also, I’m pretty sure some of these couples went straight home after the shoot. Or at least I like to think they did.

Holy splits Batman! This Volvo ad featuring Van Damme is stunning.

I really don’t have anything to ad to this. The most epic of splits.

Over 8 million views and counting. This is how Virals are born.

Ever felt like punching James Franco in the face? So have I.

Dreams do come true:

Have a nice weekend and a great vacation, if that’s the case.

Online Treasures part III: “Youtube Funnies.”

From surprised kittens to laughing babies, from epic fails to stand-up legends, Youtube is chock-full of funny videos fit for all comedy taste buds.

However, I’m not here to list my favourite comedy Youtube  videos (a list that would be comprised almost exclusively of Monty Python Sketches and stand-up routines from Carlin and Hicks) but to name some of the funniest, current, active and official (meaning no bootlegs or unauthorized postings) Youtube channels. As usual, some will be more well-known than others, but they’re all funny in their own way.

The Ricky Gervais Channel
Few comedians dominate the digital media
(and specially social media) as proficiently as Ricky Gervais. Not only has he one of the most entertaining and poignant celebrity Twitter accounts out there (don’t follow him if you’re religious though, it’s bad for your health) but he also knows exactly what people are looking for in a Youtube comedy channel. Short, easily digested and hilarious skits that immediately compel you to click the share button. Need proof? Very well:
